Reset cached validation results¶

Clears the internal validation cache so that subsequent checks recompute their diagnostics. This helper is primarily used in automated tests where deterministic behaviour is required.

The cache holds at most getOption("heteroTests.validation_cache_size", 1000) results and drops the one used least recently;
options(heteroTests.validation_cache_size = 0) turns it off. A check
that draws random numbers, as the check of normality does on a variable
longer than its sample_limit, is not stored.
